LG Chem issues a Sustainability Report every year to transparently disclose the efforts and results that we achieve in carrying out sustainability management in the economic, environmental and social sectors, with an aim to continuously improve our sustainability performance by gathering and reflecting feedbacks from stakeholders.

The value of Sustainability Reports comes from providing stakeholders with combined information of management performances in the economic, environmental and social sectors as the most significant communication channel with diverse stakeholders.

In order to focus on information that is particularly significant to stakeholders, we conducted a survey of about 1,000 stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, the government and employees, and those issues identified to be more significant from the survey were addressed as focus issues in 2011 Sustainability Report, enabling us to deliver our performances in a more effective manner to the readers.
